ABOUT ME

From a young age, I discovered my natural ability to approach and solve problems by considering the bigger picture, breaking it down into smaller components, and methodically working through each piece. This realization hit home when I challenged myself to build the Eiffel Tower Lego model, rarely consulting the instructions.

To succeed, I had to understand the overall structure and recognize the importance of each component. Analyzing the foundation to see what held the model together and examining the tower's legs to understand how each piece supported the whole, I learned a lot about my problem-solving approach and how I tackle challenges.

This experience greatly influenced my career as a UX/UI designer.

My journey into the world of UX/UI design was unconventional. During the recent pandemic, I was let go from my position in operations. Instead of viewing this as a setback, I saw it as a silver lining and an opportunity to pivot towards my passion. Reflecting on the direction the world was heading and my long-standing love for building and designing, I decided to enroll in a UX/UI Bootcamp Immersion course at Thinkful. This experience ignited my enthusiasm for solving design problems and creating user-centered solutions.

When I'm not immersed in design, you'll find me tinkering with my car, working out, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
